63: Keeping Hope Alive At Work with Guest, Drew Hoyer {Day 23 of 30 Days of Dangerous Hope}

Let’s welcome to the show another “he who overcomes!” My friend, Drew Hoyer, is the Associate Executive Director of the Minnesota-Dakotas chapter of the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation. We recently had a meaningful conversation about hope, and how he has helped his team stay hopeful while working remotely. Grab your coffee and listen in!

Connect with Drew Hoyer:

Drew has been in the non-profit world for over 13 years, with eight of those years working with families who fight each day against the genetic disease, cystic fibrosis. The last seven years as a manger, he has found a true passion in helping people just starting out in the non-profit field, working with them to build their careers. He is the son of a Lutheran pastor, the husband of an amazing entrepreneur, and loves being in the outdoors any chance he can get. Quotes from this episode by Drew Hoyer:

“The shine wore off of working from home when we started cancelling all the walks.”

“At the event is where the magic happens and that energy with people is what fuels you!”

“Whenever a problem arises, we come together as a team.”

“Because of the way we had to pivot this year, our online community is through the roof.”
